Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Here at Wise Owls we believe that all children regardless of ability should be able to access and take part in all activities made available.  We provide materials and support to children that struggle and also include activities your child enjoys in the weekly planning.  These activities are made available to ensure no child feels that they cannot take part.  We also believe confidence is key and anything that we observe that your child is confident with, we actively try to evolve and celebrate this experience.

If a child finds even the smallest of daily tasks difficult to overcome we endeavour to assist them by ensuring we understand their routine and give gentle reminders, enabling the child to maintain their routine, grow in confidence and enjoy their time with us.

Your child is very important to us!  Communication between the club, school and you is invaluable.  We believe that a personal and understanding approach will help settle your child at Wise Owls.

This is a subject that is close to our hearts and having experienced this first hand with a child that is dyslexic, dypraxic and dyscalculiar, we understand the day to day challenges that you and your child may face.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child at the setting, please feel free to come and have a chat and anything we can do to help, we will.
